Three Simulators

Problem: Always on the lookout for new ways to create memorable experiences for their VIP customers, Mercedes-Benz wanted to provide something unique, engaging, and of course, on-brand for an automotive company. They needed something easily transportable, since this entertainment will be provided at various events around the country, like their Pebble Beach events.

Solution: SimGear designed three Motion4 simulators with custom Mercedes-Benz branded LED lighting, liveries, and racing wheels. These thoughtful personalized details in combination with the Motion 4’s ultimate immersive experience combined to deliver a thrilling and unforgettable ride for the Mercedes-Benz audience.

Knowing that these Sims will frequently be moved from one location to another, we engineered these sims with a light footprint. The Motion4 easily rises to the challenge with a 26”-wide frame, built-in wheels, and simple 15-minute setup. We also developed software that enables Mercedes-Benz to export user data back into their ERP (enterprise resource planning) software; this gives them the capability to reach out and market to customers who used the simulators.

The SimGear simulators have proven to be a huge success. Mercedes-Benz guests were thrilled with the simulators, forming long lines to get a taste of the action. Mercedes-Benz was so happy with the sims’ performance that they have since ordered three more Motion4 simulators!
